Show exactly what a customer agrees to.

An annual membership, monthly software plan and trial that converts to a paid subscription have different delivery and dispute patterns. Explain the initial charge, renewal amount, billing interval and cancellation process before requesting an underwriting review.

Build a reviewable recurring-billing flow.

  • Screenshots of checkout and affirmative customer consent.
  • Trial duration and the exact conversion price, if applicable.
  • Renewal notices and accessible cancellation instructions.
  • Refund rules, customer support and proof of service delivery.
  • Existing renewal, refund and dispute history.

Ask how the provider handles the lifecycle.

Confirm token storage, failed-payment retries, account updates, cancellation webhooks, refunds and disputes. Ask whether stored payment credentials can be migrated if you change providers. Your application should distinguish a paid invoice from an attempted renewal.

Reconcile recurring revenue correctly.

Keep invoices and payments separate from settlement deposits. One deposit can include multiple renewals less fees and refunds. Compare provider reports with bank activity instead of treating every deposit as a new subscription sale.
